We were happy to welcome the cyclists from the National Kids Cancer Ride on September 7, 2019. These cyclists are riding coast to coast to raise money and awareness specifically for kids cancer research. Everyone on this trip is cycling or volunteering for a child who is or who has battled cancer. It is heartbreaking and touching to talk to these amazing people. They stop at Children’s Hospital‘s, and businesses and community centres, across the country sharing their stories. When they get to each stop they set up many small billboards with a picture and a post of some of these children. These brave souls who are fighting this terrible disease. We were happy to be able to give them a donation towards this worthwhile cause. This ride takes place every two years and we will look forward to hosting them again.
