The coulee features massive red sandstone concretions that were formed millions of years ago. This is a great place to enjoy a picnic lunch and a hike through the rocks. The prairie view is stunning and a great place to capture some photos!

ECHO DALE REGIONAL PARK AND FARM
This park features a swim lake, boat/fishing lake, historic farmhouse, barnyard and farm animals, Ajax coal mine, baseball diamond, beautiful trails and large firepits. Pack a lunch and enjoy the whole day at Echo Dale with the family or save a fire pit in the evening for a wiener roast and bonfire. There is also a paved trail for bikers to commute to and from the park and Medicine Hat.

40 Mile Park & Recreation Area is ideal for family fishing, boating, camping and adventure. The lake is 7 miles long and up to 75 feet deep for ideal boating, water skiing and fishing enjoyment. A public boat launch and public swimming area with a sandy beach adds to convenience for the entire family.
