Quonset Days 2019, marked the tenth year that the Biemans family in Seven Persons, have put on this fundraiser for ALS. The greatest party on dirt! And we always enjoy serving up lots of sausage and those huge Quonset Dogs for all of the famished partygoers. The proceeds of our sales go right to this cause, and this year we were happy to be able to donate $3500.00 to them. We encourage everyone to check the Quonset Days Facebook page and read their story. Peter Biemans passed away from this terrible disease and his family has worked so hard to raise money for the ALS foundation as a legacy to him.
We have been part of this fundraiser for many years and it is a cause that is close to our hearts. Ralph and Elaine Erb started Premium Sausage nearly 30 years ago. Mark has been with the business for just about 30 years as well, and bought the business with his wife Debbie in 2009. A few years after that, Ralph was diagnosed with ALS. It has been five years since he has passed. We will keep on supporting this cause for as long as possible, because we saw with the foundation does to support families dealing with this terrible disease.
Small towns can do great things! And we are honoured to be part of this yearly event.
